9 month check up

Wow where does the time go? 9 months old already! The Dr. said she's doing great! She weights 18lbs 9 ounces and 29 inches long! She said she's tall and skinny!! Dr. Adams said Rileigh can start eating solids 3 times a day now and can start trying people food! She suggested to put breast milk in her sippy cup so she when its time to wing her off it won't be so hard! She was very impressed with how well she is doing. Rileigh of course didn't want to sit still for her exam! She wanted to get down on the ground and crawl around- the Dr. said you stay busy with her don't you! All I could say is YES!!!!!! I need a nap too!!!

Rileigh loves to clap now! She thinks thats so neat the way your hands go together and they make noise!!! She has learn to sneeze thanks to Dennis!!! She goes around the house all day long aaa-chew and slobbers everywhere! She knows her name and will respond to it now. I feel like all I do all day long is say " Rileigh No, thats not yours!!!" She doesn't like it when you tell her "no" she thinks everything is hers!! She has really started to pull up on things and will walk if she's holding on to something. I don't think it will be long and she will be walking on her own! Those hips are getting stronger each day!!

Hard to believe in 3 months my baby girl will be a year old already.....where does the time go??

Memorial Day 2008

We took the kiddo's out on the boat for Memorial day weekend! As everyone knows we LIVE on the boat in the summer time and was really worried Rileigh would not like it. She fooled us- she LOVES it! (thank god!!) She doesn't even mind the life jacket!! I think she is going to be our little boater!!! :-)

Myrtle Beach Vacation 2008

Rileigh took her first vacation to Myrtle Beach, SC! We went with two other families: The Cargile's & The Pierce's! We had a great time 6 adults and 5 kids under the age of 3!! The kids all enjoyed it. Rileigh liked playing with the older kids all week long! She learn so much from them in just a short time. She learn how to hold her sippy cup all on her own and how to pull up on things. She now wants you to hold her hands while she walks!!! It's like she wants to be a big kid now!!!

Rileigh loved the beach and sand! She must of eat 2lbs of sand while we were there!! She liked to play in the pool too! They had a little water fountain in the pool she liked to sit by and try to drink it like she was a dog!!!

While there she got another tooth in..this makes 6!!!
