Discovery Center!

We took Rileigh to the Discovery Center for the 1st time this weekend. I have heard a lot about this place and was curious how she would like it. She LOVED it! As soon as you walk in she started running over to the different things and looking at it and playing. The 1st thing you see is the train table, I didn't think we were going to ever get past that to see the rest of the place!!! They have a room designated just for her age with lots to do. It was very busy the day we went, they had a birthday party going on so she had lots of kids to play with! Dennis thought we should join for a year since Rileigh loved it so much. This will give something for me and her to go during the week and of course will take daddy on the weekends! :-)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Happy New Year! I hope 2009 is going to be a GREAT year for everyone! We went out in 2008 with a blast! We had some friends of ours come over with there children, we had a pretty low key night planned. We had pizza and drinks and let the kiddo's play. We decided that they would spend the night instead of getting out and driving home with kids in the car with all the drunks on the road (you can tell were now parents we think of these things!!!) Nate doesn't like staying away from home at night so when we asked him if he wanted to stay at our house he was all excited! He did good he didn't ask to go home once. He knew Dennis was making pancakes for breakfast so he wasn't going to miss out on those! Rileigh went to be around normal time, McKenzie went to bed pretty close to her bedtime too but Nate wanted to ring in the New Years with the adults!!! He was doing great in the bedroom watching movies Dennis burned for him until his daddy went up to check on him and he saw him! Anyways to make a long story short he got up and played Wii for a little bit then went to bed for us! We decided to play Dennis new Wii he got for Christmas, it was a lot of fun! I got some pictures of Dennis and Charles (a.k.a. chuck) playing some boxing-if you've never played a Wii before it's funny watching other people play it, especially when they've been drinking!!! We all stayed up way too late and drank way too much! It was a GREAT new years eve. Anytime I get to spend time with my friends and family its always a good time!
