Zebra print everywhere!!!!

Rileigh's 2nd birthday party was done in Zebra print and hot pink this year! It turned out really cute!!! Here is a picture of the invitation...


and of course the cake was zebra/hot pink too!!! Not only was this cake beautiful but it was YUMMY too!!!!

The party was a hit! Rileigh had so much fun playing with all her friends. This year I bought a snow cone machine for her party. The kids loved having them! It wasn't hot out this year like it was last (not complaining cause it was a GREAT day to be outside) but I think had it been hotter they would of loved them even more! Guess will just have to have them next year too!! I kept it simple this year with just buying pizza's rather than trying to stand in front of the hot grill and grilling. I'm so glad I did that, last year it seem like we missed out on 1/2 the party cause we was cooking! I was so excited to try the cake, I spend the most time in planning this party trying to find the perfect cake without spending a fortune!!! I'm so happy with the way it turned out! I got more compliments off this cake not only on how pretty it was but the taste was YUMMY too!

Rileigh got some great gifts- thanks everyone! She was super excited about her baby stroller! She has been wanting one forever! Not only did she get one but she got TWO!!! I am okay with it cause now when her friends are over they won't be fighting over the one!!!LOL She got a cute little purse that she loves! She got a pink piano that she is really enjoying too! She also got some really cute cloths and shoes for next year as well! Rileigh was also very excited to get more coloring books, she is really enjoying coloring these days! She is very blessed to have such good friends and family that got her all kinds of wonderful things! SHE LOVES THEM ALL!!!!

Needless to say she was exhausted after a long day filled with excitement! I always rock her to bed and we talk for a few minutes every night (something I really enjoy)I asked her if she had fun at her party and she got very excited and said YES! She started singing happy birthday to herself (very cute, got to get it on video). I said did you get to jump in your bouncy she said YES with Haley!!! (She loves her Haley!!) She asked if she could take her stroller to bed with her...I told her no she had to leave it downstairs, but she did manage to get me to put her new cell phone in bed with her!!!! LOL (another thing we have to add to our crib check list every night!!) She had a great day, thank you everyone who participated in her big day and making it so special! I can't thank you enough for making her so happy yesterday and feeling like a princess!

Happy Birthday Baby Girl!

Hard to believe my baby girl is TWO today! Where does the time go?? We had a girls day with Aunt Jaime, Emily, Rileigh & Mommy! We went to Toot's for our free hotdog (gotta love that place!!) Rileigh was so excited with the girls came out to sing Happy Birthday to HER!!!! This year she knows something is different about today and it's all about her!!!! We went to the Discovery Center to check out there new toddlers play area- which by the way is GREAT!!!! They have added soooo much more for the young ones! Of course the wonderful "terrible two's" came out in her when the little kid wanted something she wanted.... gotta just LOVE this stage in life!!!! Hopefully it doesn't last the whole year!?!?!?!?

Rileigh got her birthday present early from mommy & daddy, she was SOOOOOO excited when she saw her new playhouse!!! She started screaming, couldn't wait to get in there and play!!! I keep telling her when she has her birthday party this weekend she's GOT to share it with all her friends...this should be interesting!!! LOL (sorry now if your child comes over and my daughter kicks them our of her house!!!)

New Pictures of Rileigh!

I was so excited when my good friend Shannan told me she would take some pictures of Rileigh for me! She takes such awesome pictures and is really wanting to start doing this on the side for some extra money, so she was just as excited as I was cause she wanted someone to practice on!! (It was a win win for everyone- although I don't think she needs any practice!) I wanted to get some new pictures done outdoors for Rileigh's 2 year pictures plus get a good shot for her birthday invitations! It took me FOREVER to figure out what theme I wanted for her birthday this year (not into the whole character thing) so when I came across this hot pink/zebra I fell in love with it, looks really diva'ish which is soooo my Rileigh!!! I wanted something cute for her to wear for her birthday so my wonderful mom made Rileigh's birthday dress.

Rileigh was having so much fun getting her pictures made! Poor Shannan, she was just running behind her every step just a clicking away. At 2 yrs old, poses are just OUT! Your lucky if you can get her to sit still for a second!!! All I've got to say is THANK YOU SHANNAN, you did an AWESOME job!!!
