Potty Trained!

I've been SO blessed that potty training has been so easy for Rileigh and us! We decided while she was off for Christmas break we would start her on pull ups! I didn't know what to expect, I figured she was going to do good because she's been interested in the potty for awhile now but you never know until it's time! For Christmas we bought her some princess panties and she was SO excited about those! From day one she has been telling us when she's got to go, very few accidents!!!! I've always heard the hardest is getting them to tell you when they've got to go poop...so I found something she loves...soft peppermints....and whenever she goes in the toilet she gets one! Man this has made my life so much easier!!! We are totally wearing underwear now except for bedtime, still not ready for that, although she does great at nap time and hasn't had any accidents yet! Way to go Rileigh, mommy & daddy are SOOOOOOO proud of you!!!

Fun in the snow!

Let me just start off by saying I don't think I've seen this much snow in TN since I moved here about 15 yrs ago!!!!

My neighbor called Sat and wanted to see if we wanted to go sledding and 4 wheeling...we had such a GREAT time! We decided to go down the hill on Lofton Rd (great hill to sled)best part was the 4 wheelers at the end to take you back to the top!!!! Needless to say the hill was not for Rileigh. She was playing in the snow wanting to build a snowman but the snow was too hard to get one build. I don't think she was enjoying it as much as mommy & daddy was! Not to mention it was nap time so that didn't help out! It was really cold that day too!

Sunday Jim, Jaime, Emily & Garrison all came over to play in the snow. The sun was out so it was warmer, Rileigh was having more fun that day! She finally got to build a snowman but as soon as we would build it she would knock it down...LOL...you would think I had a boy in the house!!! We found a little hill to sled down at our house, Rileigh still didn't care too much for it BUT Emily & Garrison LOVED it!!! They were having a ball just a smiling away going down the hill! Dennis and Jim found some ice for the kiddos to eat, they all enjoyed doing that! We had a great time both days but now ready for the snow to go and the hot weather to come!!!!
