Christmas 2010

What a great Christmas! Rileigh was so into it this year, I thought she enjoyed it and understood it all last year but this year was amazing!!!! She enjoyed riding around and seeing all the Christmas lights, so much that daddy had to take her back a couple nights will I was working to see them again!!

This year for Christmas all Rileigh told Santa she wanted was a BIG baby doll and the unicorn pillow pet! I know Santa was happy that that's all she wanted!! :-) She was very specific on which pillow pet she wanted (although it's the ugliest one they make and mommy tried to talk her into a cute one but no go...) but not so much on the baby doll, or at least Santa didn't understand she was looking for a baby doll that was the same size as her!!!! Santa brought her the American girl version baby doll thinking she would love it and don't get me wrong she loves "Haley" but she was expecting a doll her size and was a little disappointed. Which I might add it about broke mommies heart cause she was soooo looking forward to her BIG baby doll.

Her big gift from mommy & daddy was her big girl bed! She loves her new bed! I figured that would be a boring Christmas gift to a 3 years old but she was SO excited! Anybody that comes over to visit has to go see her bed she won't let them leave until they do!!!! LOL Grandma and Grandpa Board bought her her new bedding and Grandma and Grandpa Nelson got her her new sheets so she is all set!!! I must say it did turn out really cute. It makes mommy a little sad to see how quick she is growing up and what a beautiful little girl she is turning into!

Of course this isn't all Rileigh got some of her other big exciting gifts were her guitar she's been wanting, Dora doll house, a Changing table/high chair/ bed/ & kitchen(4 in 1) for her baby doll's, t-ball set and much more!! Needless to say Rileigh had a great Christmas-- Thank you Grandma's and Grandpa's!

Cookies for Santa 2010

Last year Diana and I set this new tradition that we were going to get together every year and make our Santa cookies together! We have such a good time when were together and Rileigh just adores Kelley and Ean! So much that because Kelley had a flower in her hair that Rileigh had to go put hers in too so she could look like Kelley!!!!

I've known Kelley since the day she was born, she is like my other daughter so blessed that my daughter has a good role model to look up too!

This year it was a little easier to do with Rileigh, she can do more and more on her own and she loves that independence! The funniest thing this year was she would put a TON of flour down, I think every time Diana added a LITTLE flour to her pile Rileigh would add a LOT!!!! We all got a good laugh out of it! She loved adding the sprinkles and candy to her cookies. I still had to help her with the icing but I'm sure by next year she will have that all down on her own too!!!!! Until next year....enjoy the few pictures I took, just realized I was too into it I didn't take that many this year!!!! :-( Next year I'll do better!

Just getting started!

Love these three!!!!!

LOVE this little girl, attitude and all!!!!

1st time Bowling!!!!

I've been wanting to take Rileigh bowling but wasn't sure how she would do and if she would enjoy it! When I called to ask about it I couldn't believe how much it's gone up in price since I last bowled!!! The cheap person I am I started looking for some coupons....got lucky, groupon.com had a coupon for bowling and shoes so I bought us some passes to go!

When I found the coupons I called Jaime to see if they wanted to buy some so we could all go, so today was a family trip to the bowling alley!!!! We all had a good time, I think all the kids enjoyed it! Of course we had them put the bumpers out and they now have this cool stand that the kids can put the balls on it and then just give it one big push instead of trying to granny style it! Needless to say we will be going back, great thing to do in the winter!
