Tent Camping Feb.2011

Rileigh had her first "tent" camping in the bonus room last night. She took her sleeping bag, flash light, baby dolls and off to bed she went! She was so grown up acting just gave me a kiss and said "good night mommy" usually we talk, sing, rock before bed time...not last night!We could hear her in her tent playing for a little while and then all the sudden complete silence. I'll be honest I didn't think she would sleep in there all night but I was wrong--she did!!! Dennis slept on the couch just in case she woke up and was scared!

She woke up this morning very happy and proud of herself that she did it! Problem is she doesn't want us to take her "tent" down this a.m.....I think she thinks this is her new bed!!! My little girl is growing up.

We are definitely going to do some real camping this summer! We took her when she was a year old and she loved it! I can't imagine how much fun were going to have now that she's big enough to enjoy the camp fire, hot dogs,marshmallows, etc!!!
