This was such a last minute trip...we were suppose to be going to Jacksonville,FL to visit Camille and her family. Camille and I were trying to think of things to do with the kids while we were there....and somehow in that conversation we were going to Disney World!!!! Daddy was disappointed he wasn't going with us but we couldn't turn down a FREE trip to Disney!
I wasn't sure how Rileigh was going to do....I didn't know if she would be too young to enjoy the rides and the scenery but she surprised me she loved it all! We only had 1.5 days there so we knew we wasn't going to get to see it all so we decided we would just go to Magic Kingdom they have the most stuff to do for Rileigh's age! I was shocked when she loved all the rides, she was disappointed that she didn't see Mickey Mouse walking around the park!! It's not like when we were kids and all the characters walk around...you only seen a few and then you had to stand in line to talk to them and get your picture made. The only way to see Mickey Mouse & friends was by going to the parade or show and of course paying to eat Breakfast/dinner with him!
Our first night there we didn't get to the park till around 3'ish by the time we got off the plane in Jacksonville, and drove to Orlando! The kids were all getting tired so we decided to call it a night! Only our night was more eventful than I wanted it to be!!! About 2AM Rileigh woke up throwing up on my pillow!!! Poor thing she was hot as all get out, I didn't have any medicine with me, no thermometer and had no clue where anything in this town was!!! So....I had to wake up Camille and her and I went to the drug store at 3am! I felt so bad for her, I didn't want her to miss out on Disney but then didn't want to get everyone else sick too.... She was in such a great mood I decided I would just take her and if we needed to leave we would!!!! You would never know she was sick and running a high fever, she was having a ball! We got lucky Camille and I got both girls to take a nap in the strollers at the same time...we walked around Disney for 2 HOURS while they both slept! It was fun though, it gave Camille and I time to catch up!! :-) We had NO problem killing two hours!
Rileigh was so disappointed that she didn't get to shake Mickey Mouses hand we decided to go do breakfast with them!!! She was so excited and from a distance she was all about it...LOL...needless to say when they got close she froze up! You never know what there going to do, I hated to come all this way and all she talked about was saying "hi" to them for us not to go! Maybe next time!!!
We definitely had a great time and plan on going back (and taking daddy with us) soon!
